Georgia Turman - Editing

I am currently an editorial intern at children's book publisher Candlewick Press. I fact-checked a non-fiction manuscript from Big Picture Press and helped Americanize the sequel to Gary Northfeild's Mighty Mega Pets: Freaky Food Fiasco!. I also did a cold read of the proofs for Seacritters!.

I edited poetry and prose for the literary section of the College Hill Independent. Read pieces I edited here, here, and here.

I assisted the African Poetry Book Fund with the copyediting process of a forthcoming anthology of African Poetry Edited by poet Kwame Dawes.

I co-edited the manuscript of Professor Mark Cladis's book, Radical Romanticism: Democracy, Religion, and the Environmental Imagination, published with Columbia Press and available here.
